game series with the Houston Astros (6-9) today at 1:05pm at Citizens
Bank Park. Brett Myers (1-1 5.00) will toe the rubber for the Phillies
while Brandon Backe (1-1 2.25) takes the hill for Houston.

The Phillies bats were quiet last night and spoiled a solid performance
by Kyle Kendrick losing 2-1. The good news was Kendrick looked good for
the first time in 2008 and the hope is he can build off of this start.
